Via Media Productions is a new, independent media company led by James (“Sandy”) Thailing, a veteran producer with more than three decades of experience in faith-based video and broadcast production. The company’s first flagship project — a YouTube travel-documentary series called Why Church — chronicles two hosts as they journey across America meeting pastors, congregations, and communities who are redefining what church looks like today.

Through cinematic storytelling, a relatable tone, and authentic conversations, Why Church bridges cultural divides and highlights how faith still finds fresh expression in every corner of the country.
